Why Choose Us?

We offer quick scheduling and an efficient testing process.

When you call for an appointment, we can get you on our schedule within two weeks if your schedule is flexible. If you need to schedule an appointment for evenings and weekends, we can accommodate you. (Note: If you need an evening or weekend appointment, we may not be able to get you in as quickly.) We do our best to answer every phone call during business hours and respond to every message we receive within 12 hours. And after the evaluation process, a full report will be available within 7-10 days.

We offer objective measurement/testing.

Without objective measurement, making a scientific diagnosis is practically impossible. Anyone can say a car looks fast, but without having information about how quickly that car goes from 0-60 or how it performs in a quarter-mile, it’s just a guess. We offer two different tests in addition to a clinical interview to gather as much data as we can before we make a diagnostic decision. The objective measurement we use comes with a normative sample to help us determine if the person undergoing the evaluation has an attention span that is below that of a “normal” attention span for that same age. Without testing, it’s all just opinion.

We create a clinical report that can be shared with medical professionals and schools.

Once we complete an evaluation, a printed or electronic version of our report is available to primary care doctors, university disability departments, and any other facility with whom the patient wants to share their information. This includes the individual who has undergone the evaluation, so if they change doctors, change states, or even change continents, their report can follow them. Many of our patients have been evaluated in the past, but can no longer access their evaluations because the person who did them retired, or the clinic they visited has closed

We have the experience that makes a difference.

David Katkin has been testing and diagnosing ADHD for more than two decades. Having completed over a thousand evaluations, he has a wide array of experience, especially with adult ADHD. He routinely analyzes testing methods for ADHD and regularly completes continuing education courses about ADHD. David personally trains his staff and continually works with them to better understand the ADHD testing and diagnostic process. He’s not afraid to delve deep with patients. And he strives to be attentive, present, and the best possible clinician for those who choose his practice.
